# Can I cross the border with the motorbike into a different country?

This is not always the case, so please be sure to check the rental conditions for the motorcycle you are interested in. If the rental  allows crossing country borders for your safety, let the local office know you are planning to do so if this is the case so they are aware.

Some locations require an additional fee to be payable in order to allow you to cross borders. This is to increase the insurance cover and road-side assistance beyond the country from which you are picking up the motorbike.
